Recently, the US. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has teamed up with WalMart to present a public service announcement to report any suspicious activity to law enforcement and/or WalMart security.

This should be a concern to freedom minded Americans for several reasons.

First, all of us would automatically report anything truly suspicious if we thought someone was going to be harmed... we are that kind of people, we don't need the government and big business telling us that.

Second, I personally can remember reading in my Social Studies book way back in the early 60's during the cold war. It said the US was better than the Soviet Union, because the Soviet Union had secret police spying on people and encouraged neighbor to spy on neighbor. Aren't we becoming like that? Remember when we were told that "the terrorists" hated us because of our freedoms, yet now we are encouraged to be observing each other? What is next? The SS demanding "Show your papers"?

Third, what is government doing teaming up with business? We have just put up with government giving away tax payer money to businesses "too big to fail". The politicians always claim that small business is the "growth engine of the economy", yet here they are teaming up with one of the biggest and one that has probably done more damage to local economies than any other.

So... if you feel like I do what do we do about it?

Since those of us that question big govenment are immediately called "the tin-foil hat crowd". All we have to do is the following:

1: Get a cheap baseball type hat & cover it with tin-foil.
2: Make a hand written sign that says "I am a suspecious person... I wear a tin foil hat".
3: Pin the sign on your shirt or coat and proudly walk around Walmart.

We are not asking to boycott although if you feel like boycotting that is perfectly understandable, but many of you are in small towns like me where often Walmart is the only place to buy because we have let them drive the others out.

All you have to do is walk in.... walk around... and eventually leave. If anyone asks you what is is about. you can simply hand them a copy of this, or explain it in your own words.

They want suspicous activity.... lets give them what they want!
